Garmin has done it again! This time with the release of their latest GPS golf watch, the Garmin Approach S20. It debuted at the PGA Show in Orlando, Florida and will be available in the market this February. It comes in three colors – black, white, and midnight teal.
Short Overview of Features
The new Approach S20 highlights it AutoShot round analyzer capability that records both the location and distance of each shot automatically. The information is then uploaded via Garmin Connect to the user’s account for post-round evaluation.
This golf GPS watch has been preloaded with more than 40,000 courses from all over the world, and with the CourseView auto updater, updates are automatically sent so that users are always posted on the latest information on their favorite courses.
The Approach S20 of Garmin can has a sunlight readable display so playing under the intense glare of the sun will not be a proble. It can also compute precise distances to the front, back as well as the middle of the green in large and readable numbers along with other targets such as water hazards, sand traps, layups and doglegs.
Aside from that, the Approach S20 can also track individual stats such as putts per round, greens in regulation, and fairways hit. With all data synced to the Garmin Connect mobile app, users can easily track their games and how they have been playing. With the AutoShot feature, information on their average distance for each of their clubs and the longest drive per round are easily accessible.
On top of all these, a golfer can easily take this golf watch into an everyday smart watch. It has the capability to track and record calories burned, daily steps, distance and sleep, as well as send move alerts to make sure the user is active all throughout the day.
