The Callaway Razr laser rangefinder is a first target priority rangefinder manufactured by Nikon. The Callaway Razr golf rangefinder device offers some improvements for the prior Callaway golf rangefinder models like backlight for display. The Razr rangefinder of Callaway has also been designed 10% smaller than the previous models and is among the lightest laser rangefinders in the market. It does not have slope technology which makes it legal for tournament play.

callaway razr laser rangefinderCallaway Razr laser rangefinder is always on “First Target Priority” mode. The first target priority enables measurement of distance to the nearest target within its range coverage without taking into account the stronger targets in the background. Golfers can thus easily target a flagstick accurately ignoring the trees in the backdrop. The golf rangefinder Callaway Razr is also equipped with a backlight option for display visibility during low light conditions. This feature is an improvement over the Callaway Diablo Octane. The red tint brought by the backlight to the display helps in better view of the display. However, a minus point in this feature is that it has to be turned on for every shot as it automatically turns after display of distance of a shot. There is no option to continuously keep the backlight on during low light conditions.
